What this site does
This is a studio website. There are no accounts, newsletters, or payment forms. If you write to us, we only see what you choose to send.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how quickly it loads. They do not set cookies and they do not follow you across other websites or from one day to the next.
Vercel identifies visits with a hash of the incoming request. That hash is reset after a day. We may see which pages were viewed, roughly where a request came from (country or city), and what kind of browser or device was used. We do not use this to identify you as a person, to advertise, or to sell data.
We rely on legitimate interests: running and improving our own website. You can object by emailing us. We will stop using analytics for your visits where we reasonably can.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not show a cookie banner because we are not storing non-essential information on your device. Hosting may set cookies that are needed to run the site securely (for example during a content preview).
If you email studio@kieranstartup.co.uk, we keep the message and your address so we can reply. We do not add you to a list. We keep correspondence as long as the conversation and our records need it, then delete it.
Who processes data for us
The site is hosted by Vercel. Images and written content are stored with Prismic. Some project videos are delivered by Gumlet. These companies act for us: they should only use the information needed to provide those services.
Vercel and some of these providers are based outside the UK. When data leaves the UK, we rely on their contracts and, where required, standard contractual clauses or the UK equivalent.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Because analytics are aggregated and hashed, we often cannot match a visit back to you. Email is different: we can find and delete what you sent us.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about anyone under 13.
Changes
If this page changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top.
